THERE IS A DOG ON THE RUN

It's aristocratic weather and the terrace of “the Shop” was filled with tourists. Inside it was cool, since a couple of weeks ago an airconditioner was installed, with sometimes chilling effects.

Ryanna behaved anxious and pre-occupied. Her dog, a chiwuawa called Cloe, had disappeared this morning and was still missing. Stress. Bij phone she informed her family and friends to look out for Cloe and posted a picture on Facebook. But is was not enough.

Luckily, at that moment, “the Boss” entered. After hearing the story and seeing her stress, she dismissed Ryanna to go home and coordinate the search. “Take my car.”, Chris said, handing her the carkeys. Ryanna sped off.

After a moment of silence several horror-stories came along. Crushed by a car, attacked by other dogs, terrorised by kids or snatched by criminals and used for dogfights or medical experiments. And Cloe was in heat.

We are brainwashed to think that way. And these things happen. As above, so below.

15 minutes later Ryanna stormed back in. “Thank God, she is backed.”, she said totally relieved. “Where did you find her.”, the Boss asked. “We found her in our garden.” Amanda smiled. “Maybe Cloe did not escape at all. She may have been there all the time!”
