SiTU MUSEUM OF MYSTERIES

one step beyond

The Gizeh-complex in Egypt is one of the “navles” of ou planet. The monumental complex, still under investigation, was build on one of the major powerpoints of the Earth's grid. A crossingpoint of ley-lines, that span the earth.

Deliberately our attention is focussed on the “Great” pyramid, the grave of pharaoh Cheops and the tallest of the 3 pyramids.

Atschool we were taught, at least I was, that these immense burial monuments were, manually, constructen 4500 years ago.

Bit the Gizeh-plateau is much more. There are several smaller pyramids, temples and even a connecting underground passage-ways.

But, according to some, the most important monument is the Sphinx.

When Napoleon attacked Egypt, the monument was almost completely covered with sand. The French soldiers used it for target-practise and shot of the nose of the pharaonic face.

At school we, at least I was, were taught that this unique monument was constructed, about the time, the pharaohs were building their grave-monuments. Untill now about 200 have been discovered. Some buried in the dessert.

Stones cannot be dated, but the climatical effects can. Recent studies claim, that the weathering of the Sphinx was not the result of sand and dessert-storms, but of rainfall!

It brought back the construction time to 14.000 years bc.

In those days the Sahara was a green and lush area and the Nile's waters ended up in the Atlantic in Southern Maroc.

This green and fertile grounds were inhabited by humans, who herded cattle and hunted giraffe, deer and depicted themselves on cave-walls, while swimming.

Historians call the area from Iraz, Southern Turkey, Syria and the Holy Land “the Fertile Crescent”. All the ancient civilisations that flourished there, were backed up by agricultural wealth and surplus.

Somehow things changed. Rich lands turned into dessolate desserts. From Basra to Niniveh and Syria, People moved away and the sand krept in.

An important part of reviving planet Earth is turning the dessert green again. What was changed by mankind, can be undone. By mankind.

Swords will turn into plows, dessert-sands into into fertile lands, that can feed all.
