The Hells Angels drive through town, but there is nothing to worry. They live here and have their chapter-HQ on the outskirts of town. You can organise a party there, if you want to.

The chapter started of as a group of local bike-enthusiasts but later joined, some say were forced to, the Hells Angels. The two groups met on the “Afsluitdijk” and the locals where overwhelmed by the Angels from Amsterdam.

Did they realise, that they became outcasts for life? I see them walk down mainstreet and shopping in the local stores. Dressed up completely and trying to impress. Some are over 60. They take their children to school in a pink Cadillac and drive familycruises on their Harley Davidsons in the rural province.

But they are not the only ones. On a sunny day hundreds of bikers gather here. Mainly near the monument or near the Northern Gate. Some drive on their own, others in big groups. And they drive through mainstreet, to impress.

This phenomenon shows the richness of many people. All of them own a car to be used during workingdays. The, expensive, bike is only used during spring and summer.

Cars don't drive for over 60% of the time. For motor-bikes it is over 95%.

Nowadays people spend their money on material things. A house, a car, a bike, a boat, food and fun. It is the battle of the wealthy to impress and to shine. About 10% of the worldpopulation is dancing this dance, which leads to the abyss. The rest is send ahead or forced to follow.
