Something to THINK about

Shortly before his surrender at Stalingrad, Hitler promoted von Paulus fieldmarshall.

Never in history a German fieldmarshall had surrendered (in the field). Von Paulus was the first.

With him 26 experienced generals and hundreds of officers went to the Soviet camps.

Von Paulus was one of the few (estimated captives: 400.000, warhardenend troops)

who survived and returned to his “Vaterland”.

von Paulus (time-traveller?)
