Student: “Master, is there an evil power? Does Satan really exist.”

Master: “Unfortunately enough, the answer is, yes. We are surrounded by entities and powers. Most are of a good nature but some are dark, destructive and they don't care about us, humans. The Vatican recently changed the text of the “Rite of Exorcism”, which the Roman Catholic Church used since the beginning of the 17^th century. Exorcism is the ritual, to banish demons from possessed believers. It is quite real and dramatic, one of the most horrible experiences, I know of. The Pope leads an army of dedicated followers who fight Satan and his demonic hordes. But others, as evangelical churches do so as well.”

Student: “Master, do many follow Satan?”

Master: “In Los Angeles, there still is an active “Church of Satan”, founded by “Anton Szandor LaVey”, High Priest and provocator, during the sixties, a hedonistic episode about 50 years ago.”

Student: “Master, is Sandor LaVay still alive and leading the Church of Satan?”

Master: “The church stills exists with a new Higpriest and they made satanism quite popular, expecially among the young, but Anton Szandor LaVey died in 1997. This was not his real name. He started out as a carnival- and circusperformer and his real name wasHoward Stanton Levey. As his name suggests, he was of Jewish origin. He was 69 (!) years old, when his pact with the Devil ended. In his last hours he seemed to have panicked. I think the veil was removed and there was no way back. Eaten alive, bij something LaVey could not see.”

Student: “What a terrible way to die!"

Master: “According to his own philosophy, he finally saw his Master. Did he act out of free will? I doubt it. Did he see, what he expected. He surely did not.

Anton Szandor LaVey was married, and divorced of course, and had three children, two girls and a boy. They are still alive now.”

Student: “What is the name of his only son, Master?”

Master: “ His name is Satan Xerxes Carnacki LaVey. And believe it or not, he is a practising LaVeyan Satanist, like his father, his mother and both sisters.”

Student: “Thank you, Master”.
