HISTORY
OF THE END OF THE WORLD
WHERE
PHOENIX MEETS UNICORN
In
a corner of the studyquarters of the Academy Ylona and Roady had
grabbed a traditional boardgame. They orfdered to latte-coffee. They
finally had an hour of to chill. Boardgames stimulate chilling. It is
simple, competytif, seemingly endless and full of suprises. It also
was a good basis for communication. Their education in the Academy
overshadowed everything.
“Shall
we talk about “mythical monsters”?, Roady asked. “Our next two
hour consist of a workshop by Master Klaas about that subject.”
“Ockay with me. I read somewhere that many of those monsters were
ancient Gods, destroyed in the Flood.”
“It
the classical combat of dualities. Marduk defeated the Ancient Ones,
the first rulers of Earth. The story, that they are not dead but
dreaming.”, Ylona read from her I-Phone. “Their dream is our
nightmare. When the Ancient Gods, like Chtulhu, Inanna and “the
Goat with the 7 young” are raised, Earth will turn into hell. They
cannot be stopped, a least not by our technology. Signs suggest, that
Chtulhu is calling.”
“I
prefer the Unicorn. This entity is supposedly still alive. The Master
showed me a book with pictures of the unicorns, there are more, in
Kenia. White horned horses covered with small flowers. A glimpse into
Paradise.”
Ylona
grabbed the dice. “Let's start.”
