 SCOTTISH KNIGHT TEMPLAR CROSS

The first group of Knights Templar consisted of 9 , mainly French, knights, who devoted their lifes, as soldiers of Christ, to protect the pilgrims travelling to the Holy Land and driving off the Islamic forces, that threatened the Kingdom of Jerusalem and other christian territories. They proved to be a mighty fighting-force and are the architects of a number of imposing castles.

During their first stay in Jerusalem, a certain area was designed to the Order, approved by the Pope. This area was of quite excluse archeological importance. The Knights made camp amidst the remains and on top of the Jewish Holy Temple, which was set on fire in 70 ad.

The knights did not spend much time on patrolling the neighbourhood. Instead they began excavating the place. They excavated  the famous and enormous underground stables of King Salomon.

This riddle is, supposedly, an important clue for finding the Lost Templar Treasure. It is found on the Shepperd's Monument, constructed at an estate in England.

WHAT CAN WE ASPECT?

Somehow many of the lost treasures of history, especially religious ones, are related to the Poor Knights of Christ and their colossal treasure. Estimated to be the largest accumulation of wealth ever seen. Gold, silver, precious stones and jewelry.

So that's the first thing, we may expect. In France recently hundreds of Templar-coins have been found, eroded together as lumps of metal. During the years many people had visions of the treasurefault. In the castle Cisors (France, a Templar stronghold), a gardener had been digging for all his life, trying to locate the treasure. One day he ran into the village, shouting that he found the Treasure. He described, what he saw: caskets full of gold and silver. Baskets, overflowing with precious stones. Shieldes of battle and swords. Knightly graves.

When the villagers arrived at the site, they were very disappointed. All they saw was a hole in the ground, about to collapse.

Two brave farmers descended, went as far as they dared and threw a stone inside. There was a faint echo. Finally the mayor decided to fill up the hole and the garderner was sacked for disturbing the peace.

But the peace did not last for long.

The Ministery of Culture, Andre Malraux, wanted to solve the mistery one and for all. Hundreds of soldiers were employed to move the dirt and research the whole area. After months of hard work, they concluded: not a trace of the evasive treasure.

Still Cissors is on the list of many treasure hunters.

What about the gardener?

What the man probably saw, was a holographic projection, activitated by his digging. Problably installed by the Templars to fool future (unworthy) digging parties.

So this is an important clue. Groups like the Templars, possessed ancient weaponsystems and technology. They hoped to preserve their treasures, not all of it was precious metal.

Jacques de Molay was the last Grandmaster of the poor knights of Christ, the Templars. He was arrested by the soldiers of Philip the Fair. He was thrown into the Royal dungeons, tortured and condemned to death by fire. De Molay refuted his confessions during the trial, because of torture. Still the verdict was clear, as for all Knights, guilty of conspiracy and heresy.

On 16 of March, 1314, Jacques de Molay, and a fellow-Templar, were led to the stake. They were asked to confess and admit to their sins, for the last time. If they did, they would be strangled, before the fire would set fire to the oiled posts.

As a favour.

Both refused and died a horrible death. The conspiring Pope Clemens V and king Philip the Fair, both witnessed the execution of Jacques de Molay.

The story goes, that shortly before his death, the Grandmaster cursed both and prophesied that the King and the Pope would follow him in death, within a year.

This is what happened. The Pope died about 1 1/2 month later of stomach cramps (poison?). Philip the Beautiful died, mysteriously during a hunt, half a year later. This is the famous

WHAT CAN WE EXPECT? (2)

During the almost 200 years, that the Order of the Templars dominated Western Europe (and Jerusalem), they gathered enormous wealth. Golden coins, silver, artwork and other currency, jewelry and statues.

So this is what we reasonably may expect to find.

But there is more to the story.

On Friday the 13^th, 1307, all the knights in France were arrested, trialed and put to death. Over 200 Templars were arrested.

During the torture the Soldiers of Christ confessed to all kinds of bizar rituals. One of those was the adoration of a “Baphomet”, a talking head. The statue talked to the Knights present, advised and inspired them.

It is known that in Celtic and Nordic sjamanism. Druids used in their ceremonies the prepared heads of slain enemies and made them talk.

The Orient is well-known with this phenomenon.

This Baphomet, this ancient idol, has never been found. So are other christian relics, who the Knights dug up on the Temple Mount. Some researchers claim, that one of this original Templar relics was “The Shroud of Turin”. One of the most important relics in Christianity. Proof of the resurrection of Christ.

So, what can we expect to find?

We may expect important finds in the category of relics of christianity.

And maybe even more.
